Montanore adit reaches 11,330 ft.

A 15,000 ft. adit being driven into the core of the Montanore deposit from outside of Montana’s Cabinet Mountains wilderness area has reached 11,330 ft. The project is a 45-55 joint venture between Jascan Resources (TSE) and operator Noranda Minerals, a division of Noranda (TSE).

Jascan says the adit is scheduled for completion in March of 1992, and will be followed by an underground drifting and drilling program. Montanore contains preliminary reserves of 140 million tons grading 0.78% copper and 2.1 oz. silver per ton.
