Mountain Lk. gets low grade values

Low grade gold values are being encountered over a large area controlled by Mountain Lake Resources. Located near Kenora, Ont., the Mountain Lake ground, the company believes, has potential for hosting a low grading large tonnage open pit operation.

Drilling has intersected wide sections up to 400 ft in length, displaying anomalous gold values. Some of the better holes include No 5 which cut 19.7 ft grading 0.056 oz gold per ton. Another 3.3-ft section in the same hole assayed 0.155 oz. The company is planning a $400,000 follow-up program this year.
