Anaconda Minerals previously explored the property for tin from 1979 to 1983. Tantalum mineralization was encountered during this time but was deemed to be of limited economic interest. Intercepts from Anaconda’s drilling included 31.5 metres of 0.0425% tantalum (0.052% Ta2O5) and 115.1 metres of 0.0238% tantalum (0.029% Ta2O5). Navigator plans to drill this property in the upcoming field season.
