Nebex Resources (ASE) is planning more drilling on its Daigle Lake gold property near Yellowknife, N.W.T. It will focus on the MLT zone, which is part of the Shear 20 structure.
MLT is 2,000 ft. long and open both at depth and along strike. The discovery hole intersected 0.32 oz. gold per ton over a true width of 16.2 ft. Elevated gold values were also encountered in two other holes, drilled 800 ft. and 2,000 ft. north of the discovery.
Concurrent with the drilling, a deep, penetrating, induced polarization (IP) survey will be carried out over the zone and its northerly strike projection. Elsewhere in the Yellowknife camp, Nebex hopes to resume drilling, after spring break-up, on the NGX and Walsh Lake properties.
In other news, Nebex plans to explore its base metal property near Bathurst, N.B. Previous drilling outlined 23 million tons grading 0.56% copper, 1.82% zinc, 0.64% lead, 0.034 oz. gold and 0.94 oz. silver in nine massive sulphide lenses.
