Perth, Australia-based Intierra has developed software that monitors the global resource industry.
Subscribers will receive, via the Internet and in map form, information on Australian geoscience and financial markets, as well as general news pertaining to the natural resources sector.
When a company announces a discovery to the Australian Stock Exchange, subscribers will be able to view where the discovery was made, who owns ground in the area, and the production history of the region. The infomation is intended to allow users to make informed decisions about where to invest.
“The service will result in increased efficiencies for the resources sector and investors, as well as greater transparency of the industry,” says Donald Pridmore, managing director of Intierra.
Intierra has entered into an agreement with The Northern Miner to develop the service for use on the publication’s web site. The company has a similar agreement with Perth-based MiningNews.net
