New Privateer Mine to start operating

New Privateer Mine says permission has been received for the treatment of the first 10,000 tons of ore in the recently-completed concentrator. Progress is under way with both primary and secondary crushers operating to fill the ore bins for the initial mill tuneup.

The plant will commence with the processing of 25 tons per day with a gradual buildup to at least 50 tons. The circuit, consisting of a gravity system, will be carefully monitored and any adjustments to the recovery process will be carried out during the tuneup interval.

New Privateer will also instigate application to the mine development review process with a view to fulfillment of the requirements for full-scale operations.
