Duration Mines has completed a private placement with isa Pacific Gold Fund which netted the company $190,000. Duration issued 100,000 shares at $1.90 per share.

Exxeter Resources Corp. reports it has raised $150,000 by way of a private placement of 1,000,000 of its common shares at 15 cents a share, and will use the funds to acquire an option on a Nevada, U.S., gold property, as well as for working capital.

Cogesco Mining Resources has changed its name to Nova-Cogesco Resources Inc. (ncg:tse) on the basis of one new for each five old shares.

Southern Petro Corp. has changed its name to CanAm Industries (car:vse) on a share-for-share- basis.
