NEWS IN BRIEF Minorca extends downdip at Nicobi

Minorca Resources (VSE) has picked up the downdip extension of the A zone at the Nicobi Lake copper-nickel property in northern Quebec. Drilling 82 ft. north of hole 2, Minorca intersected strong mineralized widths in two holes. Hole 11 returned a 41.5-ft. interval grading 0.31% copper, 0.58% nickel and 0.02% cobalt while hole 12 returned 64.1 ft. grading 0.18% copper, 0.22% nickel and 0.01% cobalt. Further to the north, hole 10 missed the A zone but intersected 103 ft. of low-grade material. Minorca says it has been approached by a few companies regarding the possibility of a joint venture on Nicobi Lake.
