Toronto-based Altai Resources (TSE) has acquired two more gold properties in western Peru.
The Rio Colorado covers 2,000 acres in Ferrenate province, north of Chimbote City. Selected grab samples returned an average of 0.73 oz. gold per ton.
The second project, Rodeo, covers more than 700 acres in Recuay province, northeast of Lima. The property is in an area that contains three active gold mines.
Work will be carried out on both Rio Colorado and Rodeo beginning in May.
