A wedge hole drilled by Amblin Resources (AX-A) at its Lyndhurst property in northwestern Quebec has returned a short interval of base and precious metal mineralization.
The hole intersected 2.61 metres grading 3.62% copper and 2.94% zinc, as well as 159.3 grams silver and 0.6 gram gold per tonne. Visible gold is reported to be present in a 0.61-metre-wide section grading 3.29 grams; that zone is adjacent to the massive sulphide mineralization.
These latest results are said to confirm those reported in July. Also, a borehole electromagnetic survey suggests that the conductor extends another 200 metres downdip.
Amblin is operator on the 2,641-ha property, situated 40 km north of Rouyn-Noranda, and is earning a 50% interest from Globex Mining Enterprises (GMX-T).
