Junior Big Valley Resources (BV-A) is drill-testing its Lloyd-Nordik copper-gold property near Williams Lake, B.C.
A recent hole, 96-61, intersected 105 ft. grading 0.382% copper and 0.006 oz. gold per ton (from 13 to 118 ft.), which includes 33 ft. grading 0.014 oz. gold and 0.22 oz. silver per ton and 1.04% copper.
This hole was collared 260 ft. southwest of hole 96-59, which returned two higher-grade sections. One of the mineralized sections started at surface and returned 50 ft. grading 0.76% copper and 0.024 oz. gold, while the other assayed 1.45% copper and 0.057 oz. gold over 196.8 ft.
Big Valley has entered discussions with several major mining companies regarding further exploration and development of the property. The junior’s land package is near the Mount Polley copper-gold mine project, which is being readied for production by Imperial Metals (IPM-T).
