NEWS ROUNDUP — Columbia examines Chinese projects

China’s mineral potential appears to have captured the interest of Columbia Gold Mines (VSE).

The Vancouver-based junior recently visited the country and carried out field examinations and technical reviews of several gold, as well as base metal, projects.

Moreover, it has entered negotiations with Chinese government officials to earn a majority interest in a gold project there.

Closer to home, Columbia is continuing negotiations for the disposition of an interest in its Tillicum Mountain gold project near Arrow Lake, B.C.
