Drilling is planned or in progress on two gold properties held by Ecuadorian Minerals (ASE) in Ecuador.
On the Gaby property, a second phase of work has begun, consisting of 23,000 ft. of diamond drilling and 6,500 ft. of reverse circulation drilling. The goal is to define the discovery, measuring 2,800 ft. long by 500 ft. wide, made during the first phase.
Drilling was initially restricted to a depth of 650 ft. The new program will test for mineralization to a depth of 1,000 ft., as well as to the east and northeast of the zone.
The company also plans to carry out extensive geochemical and geological surveys over the 2,600-acre property.
On the wholly owned Tres Chorreras gold-silver-copper-molybdenum property, 15 miles east of Gaby, the company is about to start an initial 8,200-ft. program. Drilling will test for mineralization to a depth of 500 ft. below surface.
