NEWS ROUNDUP — Exploration work for Keeley Frontier

Exploration work is planned for the Keeley Frontier property near Cobalt, Ont., Transway Capital (CDN) reports.

The program, consisting of geophysical surveys (spectral

induced-polarization, magnetometer and very-low-frequency) together with vertical loop electromagnetics, will focus on the silver-cobalt veins occurring on north-south-bearing structures.

Transway plans to extract the cobalt remaining from the silver-mining operations earlier this century. The Keeley Frontier mine closed in 1965.

President James Hunter says a feasibility study for the project is scheduled for completion in May. The junior is negotiating financing with Sassoon Metals of Switzerland.
