NEWS ROUNDUP — Farallon settles dispute with Torok

A longstanding legal dispute between Farallon Resources (FAN-T) and John Torok has been settled.

Last summer, the Supreme Court of British Columbia dismissed Torok’s claims in the province and awarded legal costs to Farallon. However, Farallon agreed not to proceed to collect those costs in exchange for complete releases, the dismissal of claims and other considerations.

Accordingly, Torok and his associated companies settled the dispute by releasing any and all claims against Farallon related to the Campo Morado polymetallic project in southern Mexico. The only remaining claim still outstanding is one involving David Hermiston and his mother, Wilma. Farallon says this case has been dormant for some time.
