NEWS ROUNDUP — Hornby Bay launches program

Having closed a $450,000 private placement to fund exploration, Hornby Bay Exploration (HBBY-C) has set up a 16-man camp and mobilized drilling equipment and supplies to the Mouse Lake camp near Kugluktuk in the new Canadian territory of Nunavut.

The Toronto-based junior has planned a gravity survey for the East Block zinc zone, discovered last year. Plans call for six holes to test several styles of zinc mineralization (potential sediment-hosted stratabound and volcanogenic massive sulphide targets) observed over the zone’s 8-km-long strike length. The large land package is also viewed as being prospective for uranium targets.
