NEWS ROUNDUP — JNR sizes up Black Lake

Two spectrometers are being used to assess drill results from the Black Lake-Newnham Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca basin.

The project, part of a joint venture between JNR Resources (JNN-V) and Rio Tinto (RTP-N) unit Kennecott Canada Exploration, was recently subjected to a 10-hole drilling campaign.

The PIMA short-wave infrared spectrometers are said to be especially well-suited to clay studies, which are important in uranium exploration in the region.

Drill results are expected later this month.
