NEWS ROUNDUP — Musto calls for joint-venture proposals

With the final feasibility study on its Bajo de la Alumbrera copper-gold project, in northern Argentina, nearing completion, International Musto Explorations (TSE) has asked for joint-venture proposals to be submitted by December.

Several major companies have expressed interest in the deposit, which contains minable reserves of 5.8 billion lb. copper and 10 million oz. gold. Musto would consider a takeover bid as an alternative to a joint venture.
