Scintilore Explorations (SLP-T), best known for a longstanding lawsuit against two prospectors who staked the Hemlo gold discoveries, has staked some ground of its own, in New Brunswick.
The Toronto-based junior staked 15 claims adjacent to the Golden Ridge property, being explored by Freewest Resources (FWR-T). An exploration program will evaluate the property’s potential for gold-bearing alteration systems, which are believed to be related to a regional fault.
Another Toronto-based junior, Golden Hope Mines (GNHM-C), has staked 18 claims in the same region, and these will also be explored for their gold potential.
Scintilore also reports that its lawsuit against John Larche and Donald McKinnon is scheduled to start April 12, 1999. The company is claiming all royalties, benefits and proceeds received by the prospectors from claims staked by them in the Hemlo gold camp of Ontario.
