Oakville, Ont.-based Waseco Resources (CDN) and Nevada company Carson River Gold are negotiating the sale of 50,000 tons of placer gold material from Carson’s leased Lyon Cty., Nev., property to Waseco for US$50,000.
Carson would heap leach the material; after the deduction of expenses, the net profits would be shared two-thirds for Carson and one-third for Waseco. Projected production could approach 3,750 oz. An option would allow Waseco to repeat the contract three more times.
Meanwhile, Waseco says it has acquired seven claims in Pershing Cty., Nev., for which exploration work is planned this spring. The company says it is also planning further work at its gold property in Washington state.
