The junior holds an option to earn 50% of Echo Bay’s interest in the property by spending $800,000 on exploration over three years. The current program, to be managed and operated by Echo Bay, will consist of 1,600 metres of drilling in seven holes. The property hosts two structural trends with known gold mineralization. Four holes will test the altered mineralization on the southern structural trend, while three holes test the Thomas Ogden Gold Mines zone on the northern structural trend. On the latter target, two of the three holes will be drilled to confirm 1930 drill results, including 5.66 grams gold per tonne over 2.44 metres, 2.4 grams over 8.39 metres, and 1.34 grams over 31.1 metres.
Berland has 6.7 million shares outstanding (8.7 million fully diluted).
