Hector Resources says diamond drilling has started on the former- producing American Flag mine, in the Maynard mining district, Mohave Cty., Arizona. lode mineral claims and another 640 acres contiguous to them, will involve a total of six holes totalling approximately 2,000 ft., and is intended to explore the down dip extension of the previously-mined ore zones.

At one time the American Flag mine was reportedly the most productive gold/silver producer in the district, the company says.
