Vancouver The British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office will not grant the Goldstream Willa project a waiver under the Environmental Assessment Process. Owner Orphan Boy Resources (ORS-V) is now reluctant to resubmit the project to a potentially lengthy review process.
Despite the set back, the junior aims to continue work on a feasibility study, which envisions a 500 tonne per day underground operation at the Willa deposit near Silverton and then truck the ore to its Goldstream mill near Revelstoke. Exploration aimed at expanding the Willa ore body, as well as testing near by targets will also continue.
Based on 556 drill holes and 2,570 metres of underground development, the Willa deposit hosts a measured resource of 487,989 tonnes grading 6.77 grams gold, 0.97% copper and 11.6 grams silver, usinf a 3.5 gram gold cut off grade. The Indicated resource tallies 292,457 tonnes grading 5.31 grams gold, 0.65% copper and 11.94 grams silver. In the inferred section is some 216,177 tonnes grading 6.55 grams gold, 0.57% copper and 7.32 grams silver.
Orphan Boy has 4.87 million shares outstanding, 6.6 million fully diluted.
