Noranda intersects narrow mineralization

Narrow mineralization has been intersected by Noranda Exploration on the company’s optioned gold property near Silverton, B.C. The ground is held under option from Andaurex Resources.

Noranda completed a deep hole which was designed to test for extension of the mineralized zone below the L.H. underground workings. The drill hole cut 1.4 ft grading 0.59 oz gold per ton from 509 ft-511 ft and 4.3 ft grading 0.23 oz from a deeper section.

Other sections in the same hole include 4.8 ft assaying 0.1 oz and 3 ft grading m.16 oz. Another four holes have been completed and assays are expected shortly.
