Noront buys ground adjoining N.B. find

Regulators are expected to approve Noront Resources’ (TSE) acquisition of 15 claims northwest of Bathurst, N.B.

The property adjoins ground held by Hendricks Minerals Canada (CDN), on which sulphide-rich boulders have assayed as high as 14% combined lead and zinc, as well as 14 oz. silver per ton.

Noront paid $3,000 cash and issued 100,000 shares as consideration for the purchase.
