Calgary-based junior Northern Abitibi Mining (NAI-V) has a diamond exploration program, including prospecting, surface mapping and till sampling underway over thirteen targets in the Chibougamau area of central Quebec.
The targets lie on 24 recently staked claims totalling 1,320 ha. Further staking is anticipated before the end of the fall field season.
Exploration is targeting discrete magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical signatures, which may represent kimberlitic intrusions in a prospective cratonic environment.
