The first year of production at the Louvicourt mine in Quebec has generated net earnings of $4.8 million, or 11 cents per share, for Novicourt (TSE) for the last quarter of 1995.
For the year, the company posted net earnings of $21.5 million, or 54 cents per share. Novicourt has a 45% interest in the copper-zinc mine, which also produces byproduct gold and silver.
