Dr Peter Kaiser has been appointed to the Research Chair in Rock Mechanics and Ground Control, at Sudbury’s Laurentian University. He is currently a professor of engineering at the University of Alberta and has consulting experience in tunnelling, underground excavations, shaft design and dam design.
