Drilling by Oro Nevada Resources (ONV-A) is exploring the Dean Ranch property in central Nevada.
The program, which consists of 20,000 ft. of reverse-circulation work to a depth of 1,000 ft., is aimed at testing four geophysical targets, including: the Duff zone, which measures several hundred feet in length and is partially exposed along the Cortez Range front fault; the Duff North zone, which is centred around a ground magnetic high, west of the Cortez range front fault; the Hand-Me-Down zone, where a gold-bearing sinter has been identified; and the Cottonwood Canyon zone.
Oro Nevada owns 94,738 acres on Dean Ranch and adjacent federal land, both of which are on the Battle Mountain trend in Crescent Valley.
Meanwhile, the company intends to carry out more drilling at the Anderson Canyon property, in the Osgood Mountains in northern Nevada. The 15,000-ft.
program will test three targets west of the Getchell gold mine, which is owned by FirstMiss Gold (FRMG-N).
