Partners explore for diamonds

Having abandoned the search for elusive “prairie gold,” Tintina Mines (TTS-V) and NSR Resources (NSR-V) are exploring for diamonds on their jointly held land package in northern Alberta.

The work program in the Peace River region will begin with a helicopter-based geophysical survey to generate targets for winter drilling. The companies have sufficient funds for the first phase of work but will have to seek additional capital for the high-risk drilling program. In the meantime, the companies, which share management, are mulling various other options, including the possible purchase of an operating gold mine with positive cash flow.
