Pelangio-Larder Mines (CDN) is gearing up for exploration on a 12-claim property, two miles northeast of the Noront Resources (VSE) and Galico Resources (VSE) zinc discovery in Hurdman Twp., northeast of Kapuskasing, Ont.
Optioned from local prospectors, the 480-acre property is situated about two miles northeast of the Noront, Galico project where previous drilling intersected 37.7 ft. of grade 2.41% zinc per ton. More recent values, reported at shallow depths, include 44.3 ft. of grade 2.41% zinc (including 5.95% zinc over 10.8 ft).
Pelangio is planning to test two parallel anomalies, about a quarter of a mile apart, and it envisages ground geophysical surveys and follow-up diamond drilling if necessary.
