Pele Mountain starts program

An agreement with Battle Mountain Gold (BMC-T) sets the stage for Pele Mountain Resource (PELE-C) to test a bulk sample from its wholly owned WAWA gold project in Ontario.

The junior has already started mining a 7,000-tonne bulk sample from the Markes zone, a shear-hosted gold target hosting a small resource. It will be processed at Battle Mountain’s Golden Giant mill at Hemlo, Ont., later this month.

The Markes zone occurs in the same deformation zone as the producing Edwards gold mine.

Pele Mountain says the sampling program will provide information about the mining and milling characteristics of the Markes zone.
