Petroleum Society

Theme of the 38th annual technical meeting of the Petroleum Society of sim (Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy), planned for June 7-10 at Calgary, Alta., is “Innovation and Optimization — Everyone’s Challenge.”

A plenary session on the morning of June 8 will feature a panel of prominent speakers from the petroleum industry, the financial community and academia. A wide range of technical, economic and human resource subjects has been scheduled.

This year’s gathering, originally set for Banff, will take place at the Calgary Convention Centre.
