Grassroots exploration work has started on a 57-claim property in Sandra Twp, near Beardmore, Ont., held by coats-listed Portfield Industries Inc.
The work is being funded by Bay Resources & Services and Parklane Technologies Inc. which can earn a 70% interest in the property by spending $600,000 before February, 1988.
Line cutting has been completed and ground geophysical surveys are under way, according to Portfield president Eric Plexman. Airborne geophysics identified a number of interesting drill targets.
