Poste Lemoyne bears gold (February 06, 2002)

Preliminary drilling by partners Virgina Gold Mines (VIA-T) and TGW Corp. (GWC-V) has deepened a surface showing at the Poste Lemoyne property in the James Bay area of Quebec.

The Orfe zone has been traced for 175 metres along a northwesterly strike. It dips steeply to the north for at least 50 metres.

Seven holes have been drilled, returning 0.69 gram per tonne over 0.75 metre to 34.79 grams (uncut) per tonne over 9 metres. The results are comparable to those obtained from channel samples.

Mineralization is characterized by disseminated-to-semi-massive sulphides in a mixed package of siliceous sediments and iron formation.

Drilling continues.
