Elevated gold values in 46 of 57 samples taken from property in Nevada have been announced by Pundata Gold Corp.
The best assay shows 2.38 oz gold per ton, 3.53 oz silver, 0.128 oz platinum and 0.228 oz palladium from the samples taken from the approximately 9.5-sq-mi Midas Ax property located 30 miles southwest of Las Vegas. Twenty new claims have been staked.
President Ed Zederayko says three faults can be traced for miles on the property, with alteration and mineralization affected for thousands of feet laterally away from the faults. Another company, he says, recently reported a mineable deposit of 7.5 million tons of 0.08 oz gold approximately 14 miles southwest of Pundata, in similar rocks.
Pundata’s work has pinpointed other areas of exploration. Seventy- six additional samples are currently undergoing analysis. All assays are being done by Bondar Clegg of Vancouver.
Pundata has also announced a joint venture with Trio Gold Corp. of Calgary which will allow Trio to earn a 40% interest in 121 of Pundata’s 287 contigious claims in the area described above.
