Queen’s seminar

Governments’ increasing neglect of the mining industry has prompted it to contend with the political agendas. The 23rd policy discussion seminar, held in Toronto by the Centre for Resource Studies of Queen’s University, Nov. 2-4, is intended to help those in mining to cope with costly, sometimes hostile, pressures.

John Cooke, publisher of The Northern Miner, will chair one of the panel discussions.
