Radius hits hot holes at Holly

Vancouver – With the price of gold moving to 5-year highs, junior Radius Exploration (RDU-V) could not have picked a better time to deliver promising drill results from its wholly owned Holly property in eastern Guatemala.

The first round of drilling tested a low sulphidation epithermal gold system with mineralization structurally controlled in volcanosediments and lagoonal calcareous mudstones on the north side of a rhyolite dome.

Highlights from three separate zones of mineralization include:

  • Hole 1 – 14.2 metres grading 4.14 grams gold and 150 grams silver,
  • Hole 4 – 6 metres grading 43.56 grams gold and 1,617 grams silver
  • Hole 5 – 10.6 metres grading 7.95 grams gold and 263.4 grams silver,

Hole 7 tested the mineralization in hole 1 some 35 metres lower returning 9 metres grading 1.84 grams gold and 45.1 grams silver.

The 7-hole program tested 6 propsects over a 1 sq. km area.

Further drilling is planned for the New Year.
