A mineralized section more than 55 ft wide was intersected in hole 86-2 on Rambo Explorations’ Turgeon property in northwestern Quebec’s Massicotte Twp.
The company says the hole confirms the extension of a shear zone at depth previously intersected by hole 86-1.
Assays on 86-2 yielded anomalous gold values over the whole width, but the highest grades intersected are restricted to a 6-ft-wide zone where assays vary from 0.03 to 0.11 oz gold per ton. Another section yielded values from 0.01 to 0.12 oz over 12 ft.
Drilling is continuing on the property.
