A comprehensive listing of weekly stock quotations for mining securities is provided by The Northern Miner. To assist readers who often know the name of the stock but not the exchange on which it trades, Canadian stock trading and a select list of stocks trading on U.S. exchanges have been combined into one table and listed by company in alphabetical order.
For interlisted Canadian stocks (those that trade on more than one exchange), the quote from the exchange on which it is most actively traded appears in print; the exchange from which a stock quote is taken is designated in the second column, after the company name.
Stocks that do not trade during the week or traded less than 100 shares are included in a separate bid-and-ask table, again listed alphabetically regardless of exchange. Bid-and-ask quotes also include a column giving the price of the last trade.
Also provided are summary tables listing the 10 most active Canadian issues during the week and the 10 Canadian issues that traded the greatest value.
Note: (1) Stocks that trade at $5 or more during the week are designated by $ before the high-trade column and are reported in eighths of a dollar; stocks that trade at less than $5 are reported in cents. (2) U.S. stocks are reported in U.S. dollars.
