Recon hole hits at Canamax’s Clavos

The first reconnaissance drill hole on the Clavos property held by partners Canamax Resources (66.66%) and Bruneau Mining Corp. (33.33%) has cut a 16.4-ft section grading 0.3 oz gold per ton. The Clavos ground is located east of Timmins, Ont., along the Pipestone fault.

The hole is located 3,000 ft east of the discovery zone, which hosts reserves of 470,000 tons grading 0.212 oz, Canamax reports. A second rig is being moved onto the property which will complete testing of the Discovery deposit in preparation for a feasibility study this year.
