Repadre drops plan to buy royalty

Having completed a due diligence review, Repadre Capital has decided not buy a 5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on Greenstone Resources’ (TSE) Santa Rosa gold mine in Panama.

Greenstone was to have received $4.3 million in exchange for granting Repadre a 5% net smelter return royalty on production from the Santa Rosa and Alta de la Mina concessions as well as an adjacent exploration concession. The Santa Rosa, which has proven and probable reserves of 12.4 million tonnes grading 1.49 grams gold per tonne, is expected to be in production by year-end.
