Toronto-listed Greater Lenora Resources has received results from infill drilling of its Goldfields project in northern Saskatchewan.
The 9-hole program was carried out in the area of the Box Pit. Among the best results are 0.613 oz. gold per ton over 59.05 ft., 0.668 oz. over 22.97 ft. and 0.578 oz. over 13.12 ft. Other results ranged between 0.039 and 0.416 oz. over widths varying from 6.6 to 52.5 ft.
The drilling was part of an overall program aimed at increasing the grade at the open-pit project to allow for the completion of a feasibility study in early 1995.
In other news, Lenora intends to acquire a 100% participating interest in four properties owned by Cameco (TSE). The Lodge Bay, Nicholson Bay, Crackingstone and Fishhook Bay concessions comprise 31,622 acres and are near the Goldfields property.
