Recent unrest in Sierra Leone has prompted Rex Diamond Mining (RXD-T) to obtain a security clearance in order to resume work at its diamond mining leases in Tongo Fields and Zimmi.
The company says the country’s Ministry of Mineral Resources has provided written confirmation of the mining leases. The diamond producer also has operations in South Africa, and elsewhere in Africa.
