Ore grade gold mineralization has been intersected in three of five holes drilled to date on the Annamaque-Faraday property at Val d’Or, Que., Rogi Exploration reports.
Rogi is involved in a joint venture on the project with Aur Resources, which is acting as operator of the exploration program.
Drilling to date has tended to intersect erratic values over narrow widths. An exceptional hole, No 404-8, cut 1.06 oz gold per ton over 3 ft. Other intersections included hole No 404-9, which cut 0.1 oz over 3 ft, 0.31 oz over 2 ft, and 0.13 oz over 3 ft., and hole No 404-5, which cut 0.12 oz over 3 ft, 0.22 oz over 2.5 ft and 0.13 oz over 3 ft.
A drilling program totalling 20,000 ft is planned. The two companies have budgeted $750,000 for the exploration work this year.
