An induced polarization survey is set to begin on a 25,000-acre land package under option to Rondal Gold (RGD-A) in Mexico’s Zacatecas state.
Rondal has the right to acquire 49% of the shares of a private Mexican company that holds the San Jose 6-18 claims and Las Torres claim, situated 6 km northwest of the San Nicolas massive sulphide discovery.
Rondal has granted Teck (TEK-T) a 3-year right of first refusal to either purchase or finance the property. William Meyer, Teck’s former vice-president of exploration, has been appointed a director of Rondal, joining Dalton DuPasquier, Richard Grayston, James Jacuta and Ross Blusson.
Meyer remains a consultant with Teck.
