Roxmark acquiring Geraldton property

Under a preliminary agreement, Roxmark Mines (TSE) will gain control of the Little Long Lac gold mine property from Algoma Steel.

Situated in Geraldton, Ont., the former producing property comprises 72 claims, largely patented, totaling almost 2,800 acres.

Algoma acquired the property in 1967 for its iron ore potential. A former owner of the property is Lac Minerals. In the Geraldton camp, Roxmark has adjoining property holdings where 40 drill holes have tested a near-surface potential zone parallel to the Main Magnet mine.
