Roxmark drilling Magnet mine bet

Half of a 10,300-ft drill prorgam has been completed by Roxmark Mines on the company’s property near Geraldton, Ont. Located in Errington Twp., the property includes the old Magnet mine shaft and underground workings.

Drilling is testing for the depth extension of the Benedict zone, located 1,000 ft north of the Magnet shaft. The zone has been explored by nine holes to the 150-ft level along a strike length of 975 ft. The zone along this section averages 7.4 ft and grades 0.15 oz gold per ton. A single hole completed 300 ft below the zone cut a strongly altered section displaying visible gold across a 12.5-ft section.
