Royal Oak drilling

A diamond drill program has been started by Royal Oak Resources on the company’s Maylac gold property near Geraldton, Ont. The 6,000-ft program will test several targets, including the down plunge projection of the Maylac mine workings.

In 1958, Gulch Mines sank a 425-ft shaft and established four levels. The operation produced a modest 1,520 tons grading 0.53 oz gold per ton. Royal Oak can earn an 80% interest in the property by spending $300,000 over a 3-year period.
