Roycefield drills two antimony plays

A 3,000-metre drill program to test three antimony geochemical anomalies has resumed at Roycefield Resources’ (ASE) Beaver Brook property in central Newfoundland.

Deeper drilling will be carried out on the Central zone, which is estimated to contain 134,000 tons averaging 5.76% Sb to a depth of 300 ft. After 36,000 cubic yards of overburden are removed, mapping and sampling will be carried out.

As well, the company has started drilling its 2,800-acre, antimony-gold property at St. Andre, in the Matapedia area of Quebec. Previous drilling and channel sampling uncovered two veins on the property. The first has assayed as high as 5.9 grams gold per tonne and 4.77% Sb over 1.25 metres, while the second returned values of 2.4 grams gold and 12.27% Sb over 0.23 metres. The company plans to drill more than 2,400 metres on the property.
